1. Plans, Engineering & Building Permits
Once your pool contract is finalized, we’ll create a detailed construction plan showing all agreed-upon specifications. You’ll receive a copy to review before excavation begins—this is the best time to request changes, as adjustments later in construction can be difficult and costly.
After your approval, we’ll submit the plans to your local Building Department for review and permits. Approval times vary by jurisdiction but typically range from a few hours to a week. In some cases (such as critical soil areas or properties with septic systems), an inspector may visit your site before permits are issued.
When permits are granted, they’ll be posted at the job site. Please help protect them from weather but leave them accessible for inspectors.
